Chris studied art and industrial design at the Central school of Art, London. After working for a number of businesses from kitchen design to furniture he set up a joinery workshop, working for a number of interior designers and private clients in London.
It was a natural progression that he moved into construction, carrying out numerous development projects for a large blue chip property company, from design through to completion.
In 1990 Chris went into developing in his own right, whilst maintaining his construction company. In 1992 he moved to the Cotswolds to continue his passion for buildings and the build process. He continued in this business for the next nineteen years, completing numerous developments projects from cottages, barn conversions and large country houses and new builds.
He has always been keen to try new building technics before they become main stream and five years ago created an eco business park near Northleach, Glos. He has a passion for green technologies, however always bearing in mind the practical aspects of intergrating these technologies into a build.
Whilst he is a strong believer in good design, he also believes that function should not be compromised as a consequence and always looks for a workable solution.
